If you are a girl, chemical engineering with a SC rank of 2268 isn't a tough call as the cutoff last year was pretty near. Things can be slightly different if you are a boy..
But since you have already been allotted geology at IIT kharagpur, I don't think chemical engineering will be that difficult. Best of luck
