Dear Shraddha,

In order to become a surgeon, you can give AIIMS, NEET or JIPMER exam. After qualifying the exam , you will have to do MBBS which is of 5.5year. Then obtain a MS degree in general surgery to practice as a surgeon. For that you need to have secured MCh degree from any institute approved by medical council of India. You can choose many specialisations such as cardio thoracic surgeon, gastrointestinal surgeon, neurosurgeon, etc.
