VIT VELLORE AND VIT CHENNAI belong to the same institution ie; both of them are under the same umbrella the only difference is that both the locations are different and VIT VELLORE was established first and then VIT CHENNAI. More or less the specifications are same. The locations are even good. So you can go for anyone you like.

Since both the campuses of VIT are better but if you compare among both these then surely vellore Campus will be faar better because there you will get various of opportunities in every field including education and sports as well.
Since it is a main campus there you will get the good faculty of teachers, students and vast environment of studies where you can also boost your skills in each and every field.
