I can only say that on the base of the rank it's really hard to get CSE at VIT UNIVERSITY, but on the base of the given RANK, you can get other departments in other campuses.
But if you only want to take VIT UNIVERSITY MAIN campus OR CHENNAI then you can get it through management quota.
