Firstly electrical engineering is a good branch in the modern world. It depends if you want to change your college preference or branch preference.

According to me if your are not that satisfied with your branch, then you should go for a sliding option in which your college preference remains the same but you can get some other branch according to vacancies.

In other cases also , don't be disappointed with what you have got since that is pretty good too.

It more importantly depends on the choices you have filled in. If you want stick with the same institute and branch atleast if you don't get a better branch, you should choose sliding option. That way the institute will remain same but higher choices according to your preferences may be alloted to you according to the availability of seats.
