As per my knowledge and Research ,  ISI Kolkata has a centralised placement cell which is operated by the students of various streams and mentored by some faculty members. Due to which the placement scenario is very good.

Current year statistics(2018–2020 batch) :-

• Highest CTC offered-32 lpa
• Lowest CTC offered-13.6 lpa

Companies visited- Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, UBS,Zendrive, Finarb, Optum, Manikaran Power, Dr. Reddy's Lab, Flipkart,Google, Amazon, AbInbev, Dell ,Samsung,KPMG, GE, BlackRock, ICICI Bank, Embibe,Aditya Birla Capital, PWC, Crisil, Archeron Group, Wipro, Capgemini, GroupM, ORMAE, Emplay, Nference, Decimal etc

No .of companies visited- Greater than 30.

Truth be told, the job scenario of M.Tech CS at ISI Kolkata is debatable.
You will not get many core Computer Science jobs, i.e do not expect Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, NVIDIA, etc to make appearances. The jobs on offer are completely related to Data Analytics.
