If you are aspiring for top NIT'S, your rank should be less than 10,000.  General category candidates need to score a minimum 95+ percentile to get NIT'S. For reserved category candidates need to score 80+ percentile to get NIT'S. It is very difficult to get CSE in NIT. You should get below 20,000 rank. You may get other branch.
