To get into the IIIT Bangalore, You have to appear for JEE Main, conducted by NTA for integrated M tech Courses.

You have to get cutoff rank above 9000 to get admission in the ECE branch and above 7000 cutoff rank to get CSE branch (This cutoff is based on the admissions in 2020).

For MTech, you will have to appear for GATE examination.

For M.Sc. (Digital Society), IIIT Bangalore conducts a separate examination for admissions.

IIIT Bangalore does not conduct any separate entrance examination for Integrated MTech and postgraduate courses. The selection is done on the basis of the score of Paper-I of JEE Main and GATE score respectively. IIIt Bangalore provides around 7 courses at postgraduate and doctorate level. For MSc Digital Society and research programmes, the institute conducts an entrance test followed by an interview.
