Greetings aspirant!

It will depend on the city you are staying in, as per now their is no such special laws for paying guests. Their is no such bondage on the PG owners to not take rent. As long as you have your belongings their you will have to pay. However even the laws says that due to unforeseen circumstances like these some sort of protection should be given. You can request your PG owner for some relaxation in the rent or you can request for some more time to pay. On humanitarian ground pg owner can give some relaxation to you.
