In order to prepare for GATE you should be aware of the syllabus, exam pattern and important topics. You should make your proper plan. So, that you can complete your syllabus on time and you get proper time for revision.

You can follow below preparation strategy as well-

You should make your own notes it will help you in revision.
Make small targets, daily targets, weekly targets.
Practice previous year questions religiously.
Don’t just do a subject and leave. Revise it after 7-15 days so that you don’t forget it.
Mark the questions you feel are important, tough or conceptual.
Solve complete mock test series on regular basis to analyze your preparation level and to know your strength and weakness.
