Dear shivakoti srihitha,

Admission in a mba college is a fickle business since it is just not merit-based. Rank and score are one criterion, iim's filter the candidates on the basis of their CAT percentile 10th, 12th and graduation percentage. Then they have group discussion and personal interview round and then they select the candidate.

Good rank and score ensures that will go to further rounds of section process but doesn't guarantees admission
