IIM Indore Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has released provisional status for admission to PGP/HRM 2023-25. The registered candidates can check their provisional admission status at the official website of IIM Indore, using CAT 2023 registration number and email ID used in CAT registration or date of birth. Earlier it released the provisional shortlist PI. The candidates are required to confirm the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee. If you want to withdraw admission, you can send your request for the same till June 11.

In order to participate in the admission process of IIM Indore, one will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid out for the CAT 2023 exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates will be shortlisted for PI round based on their CAT 2023 score and academic performances such as marks in 10th, 12th, and diversity scores. Eligibility criteria for CAT 2023

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks on its equivalent CGPA (45% marks in total aggregate in case candidates belongs to Scheduled Tribe (ST) Scheduled Caste (SC) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category)

IIM Indore Admission 2024 - Selection Process

IIM Indore 2023 admission criteria comprise three stages. (I) Eligibility Criteria (II) Shortlist of candidates for Personal Interview (PI) (III) Final Selection. Check the detailed selection process of IIM Indore admission criteria 2023.

Stage 1 - IIM Indore Admission 2024 - Eligibility Criteria

Those who apply for a two-year PGP programme at IIM Indore must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria by IIM Indore. Apart from that, one should also satisfy the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile in CAT 2023. Only those candidates meeting the criteria will be called for Stage 2 of the IIM Indore selection process.

Stage 2 - IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2024 - Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI)

IIM, Indore has released the list of provisional shortlisted of candidates for PI for PGP and PGP (HRM) 2023-25 batch on its official website. Candidates can check their status of the provisional IIM shortlist for the PI process by entering the CAT 2023 registration number and email id/ date of birth.

Those who satisfy the above-mentioned criteria will be considered for stage 2 which is Personal Interview (PI) round. This year, the Written Ability Test, WAT has been removed from the admission criteria. The list of candidates shortlisted will be released category-wise (General, NC-OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD) on the basis of the Composite Score which is mentioned in the table given below.

*Z candidates, Z min and Z max tends for 10th/ SSC score and 12th/ HSC score are computed using normalisation process.

Those who will get shortlisted for PI round will be intimated after the completion of stage 1. IIM Indore will conduct admission interviews in Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Indore, and Mumbai. IIM Indore reserves all the right to change the interview centres at any time.

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview (PI) round. If a candidate fails to attend any round, then in such case, they will not be considered for stage 3. IIM Indore will also expect a consistent and minimum performance in the various parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will be decided by the admission committee.

Those who will not meet the minimum performance in any PI parameter will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process.

Stage 3 - IIM Indore Admission 2024 - Final Selection

Those who will satisfy the Stage 2 requirements will only be considered for the final selection round of IIM Indore. Category wise IIM Indore merit list will be generated on the basis of the Final Composite score after that provisional admission offers will be made accordingly by the authorities adhering to the reservation norms.

As per the Government of India (GOI) requirements, a total of 27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Class (OBC) those who belongs to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NC-OBC), and a total of 15% for those who belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC), and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, up to 10% for those who belongs to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and 5% persons for Persons with Disabilities.

As per the Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016), “person with benchmark disability” means a person with not less than 40% of a specified disability where the specified disability has not been derived in measurable terms and it also includes the disabilities which have been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the authorities. “Specified Disability” tends for the disabilities as specified in the schedule of RPwD Act 2016.

The categories of disability are:

1. Blindness and low division

2. Locomotor disability includes leprosy cured, cerebral palsy, acid attack victim, dwarfism, and muscular dystrophy

3. Deaf and hard of hearing

4. Intellectual disability, Autism, mental illness, and specific learning disability

5. Multiple disabilities from amongst person under clauses (1) to (4)

6. Other “Specified disabilities” mentioned in “The Schedule” of RPwD Act 2016
