Job opportunities after BSc Geology are present in various government organizations,educational departments, research agencies,various process involved with mineral such as processing, mining, production,extraction etc in various private firms, exploration involving oil and natural gas.

Top recruiter are SAIL, Coal India, ONGC, RIL, NIO,DRDO, ISRO, etc. Scope increases after pursuing higher studies, and for those with inclination towards research and teaching can do PhD after Master's. You can qualify NET/SET to become assistan professor or you can also continue your higher  studies while getting stipend simulaneously.For teaching in school you need to have BEd and qualify CTET or state level TETs. Based on graduation there are many goverment exams for which you can appear in case that interests you such as UPSC Civil Service Exam,  SSC CGL, Banking/Insurance exams. state level PSCs etc.
