Disadvantage:-

1. The mobile phones are not allowed in the college for the 1st year student. 

2. Girls are not allowed for outing in the college. 

Advantages:-

1. It is one of the top 50 engineering college. 

2. Placement is too good for CSE and IT branch.

Let me start with the disadvantages:

• Remote location (but environment is greenish and good weather conditions)
• Mobile phones not allowed for 1st yr students and incase of hostels ( for girls) phones are strictly not allowed
• Incase you choose hostel, you(girls) are not allowed to go outings on weekends and special permissions from parents are required to visit them.

Coming to Advantages:

• One of the top 50 colleges in India, considering IIT’s and NIT’s
• The top college in tamilnadu when it comes to placements (will brief at the end)
• Incase if you are a study freak, very good library facilities and you have good access to topmost journals. Dont worry if you are not the one, many intercolleges functions will be there to enjoy the college life
