• Private jobs : There are lots of opportunities in private industries which are working in Agriculture sector e.g.Tractor companies, Irrigation companies, fertiliser and seed companies, Dairy firms etc., as a sales executive as well as research department. Initially, they offer a salary of Rs.15000-30000 for sales executive and Rs.25000-50000 for R&D. These are several consultancies which offer a recruitment in these companies through them, such as krishicareer .
• Government jobs : As mentioned above , every state has a agriculture department and they have mandate of Processing, Mechanisation in farm, for which they recruit Agriculture Engineers in district or Tahsil level. • Subject Matter Specialist : ICAR has a vast network of KVKs, in which the experts of different subjects are requires. With presence in almost every district, these KVKs recruits these SMSs for the extension of technologies developed by government institutions ,to the farmers. The salary and status for this job is similar to that of Assistant Professor.
• Technical Officer: To assist the Scientists and researchers , ICAR appoints the staff of technical officers. Which is a permanent post and get the salary upto Rs.30000 per month.
