SC stands for Schedule Caste. It is categorized under minority quota. With SC rank, one can get a good college easily with lower marks as compared to General category rank holder. If two students have 300 marks in UPSEE, then a SC student has a more chance of getting a good college with his/her SC rank whereas it will tough for the Gen category student.
