Hi, It is a good option. BITS is the first college to conduct an online entrance exam throughout India. The forms come out in March (mostly) and the exams are in June. The toughness of the exam, is lesser than that of GATE. Anyone who has prepared for GATE can easily crack the BITS HD exam. The ranks for CS vary each year. The main thing about BITS is that, since there is no reservation, the quality of candidates is really good and everyone is here is because they deserve. You have around 4 subjects per semester, which is really less compared to 6-8 courses per sem in B.E. But the amount of project work will keep you busy most of the time. There are many ways in which you can spend your time in BITS doing M.E. The faculty is really top notch. The professors have tremendous amount of knowledge and are widely respected among other top colleges in India. They will even assist you in your individual projects. There are plenty of sports & other activities as well for us to participate in. And there is also a club representing the various states in India. This helps you in meeting people from your state and bonding with them. You can also become an active member of the club and help in organising events and stuff. The opportunities are endless. Future Scope After doing M.E, you can either become a faculty, or do Ph.D. or go back to the industry. Good Luck.
