The JEE advanced is considered to be one of the most difficult examinations all around globe. The best approach to an examination like that would being thoroughly versed with the concepts. Ofcourse that's not enough but without knowing the concepts properly you can't understand a lot of the components of the jee advanced syllabus. Be thorough with your NCERT books and then move onto books for jee examinations.
