There are two IIITs in Andhra Pradesh.

• IIITDM Kurnool - Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing
• IIIT Sri City - Indian Institute of Information Technology

IIITDM, Kurnool was established in the year 2015 and the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City, Chittoor was established in the year 2013. The qualified candidates of JEE Main entrance exam will be eligible for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), which are one group of the participating institutes of the entrance exam apart from NITs and GFTIs.
