IIITDM Kurnool: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

IIITDM does not offer any financial assistance in any way, for its students. However, students are encouraged to apply for various state and central government scholarship schemes. Students belonging to SC/ST category can avail for various scholarships offered by state and central government. There are also merit scholarships offered to students with excellent academic performance. Students can accordingly avail for scholarships and loans since the IIITDM Kurnool doesn’t offer any scholarship. Scholarships are necessary for many engineering students since the fee is quite high, and it becomes difficult for students with a family income less than Rs. 5 lakh per annum. To support such bright students in pursuing their dream and supporting their interest, various IIITDM Kurnool scholarships are offered by the state and central government, especially for students belonging to SC/ST and another economically backward category.

Since IIITDM Kurnool does not offer scholarships to its students, students can check some of the famous scholarship schemes for financial support. The list of state and central government schemes that students can avail of include;

1.     AISEE Scholarship (BTech) up to 100%, provided by Andhra Pradesh.

2.     Post-matric scholarship for disabled, provided by Maharashtra.

3.     Post Matric scholarships scheme for minorities, offered by GOI’s Ministry of Minority Affairs.

4.     Post matric scholarship for students with disabilities, offered by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

5.     Central sector scheme of scholarship for college & university students central sector scheme, MHRD GOI.

6.     AICTE PG scholarship, offered by AICTE.

7.     Digital India Internship scheme by GOI’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

8.     AICTE’s National Doctoral Fellowship Scheme, offered by Higher Education Body-AICTE.

9.     Ramanujan Fellowship provided by the Science & Engineering Research Board.

10.  Merit Scholarship for ST/SC/OBC/Minority Students, offered by Department for the welfare of SC/ST/OBC, State Government of NCT of Delhi.

Apart from these scholarships, students can avail of various private bank loans for education. Since there are many students from various states studying in the university, students can avail of their respective state’s scholarships.
