The question you posted is not very clear. The big could be interpreted in many ways like area wise, placement wise, prestige wise, etc. For example placement wise and prestige wise IIM AHMEDABAD is the best institute for management in India but area wise it is smaller than LPU, PUNJAB.

Similarly, IIT-BOMBAY is also the biggest institute placement wise and prestige wise. So the definition of big defines what you want to be the biggest college in India.
