Hello Aditi, 

Lateral entry is like direct entry in 2nd year of course like mca, btech etc. If you have done any diploma in engineering field after 12th then you can get the direct admission in 2nd year that is called lateral entry. 

The fees of madan mohan Malaviya university of Technology is around 1,10,000 for 1st year of btech for all branches and for rest of the years is 96000, fees is included of hostel charges but excluding mess charges. To know the exact breakdown of fees structure go to this link below-
