Equivalent courses means any diploma or vocational courses which are equivalent to 12th.

Similarly,  if it is stated that a candidate with B.tech  graduation degree  or it's equivalent are considered to be eligible then it means that a candidate with B.tech or B.E or B.Sc or B.A etc are eligible.
