 OPN or open which are used for seat allocation in private colleges as follows:

• Open quota seats are those seats which are open to all based on all india merit i.e., Anyone in India can compete for these seats based on All India Rank.
• (OPN) - Open Quota - Note: Non Karnataka candidates eligible only for Open Quota
• GMP is General Merit-Private (Karnataka) that is applicants from karnataka only
