When i gave my bhu exam my marks were 225 with AIR 364 general in the year 2012 and I got my 2nd preference i.e pms ( physics ,maths ,statistics). In 2013 I heard that the cutoff has gone up. Bhu never releases its cutoff list hence the doubt. I believe that if you can get a rank between 1 -600/650 you have greater chances of selection but this doesnot guarente that you will get the hons of your choice . Since you are pwd there is a better oppurtunity for it .I dont know what is the present scenario there but doing 8095 ques for gen is sufficient.



It was 186 for general category in 2015 ,153 for OBC , around 110-120 for SC/ST . For pwd , you can get approximate value by deducting 60 - 70 marks in each category like 120 for general pwd and 90 for OBC pwd.
They have reservation in hostel allotment is well . However it is only sc st and PC. There is no OBC reservation. 225+ would be sufficient for hostel depends on level of question paper . Its an average estimate. Girl students have option of MMV is well .Their cut off is approx. 30 marks less than that of Institute of Science.
PMK withcomp.sc. hons. is most preferred combination.You need 250 for that and you might not be sure.SMK with comp. sc. hons. is 2nd most preferred course.Then comes PMC and others. Combination allotment thoroughly depends on marks.A 250 would be sufficient for almost everything.
