First you need to select your course, as some require LPUNEST . eg if you want to take admission in bba , bcom etc then its not mandatory , but if you want to take admission in btech ,bca hons  or any other hons program then its mandatory to give LPUNEST exam

Recently had a chance to go to LPU with my brother because he is pursuing BTech in mechanical engineering. Candidates must use the online application process to apply for admission where in all the details including marks sheet and identity are filled. As part of the selection procedure for various courses, the university administers the LPUNEST which is LPU's own entrance exam deciding the eligibility and scholarship of the student. After the selection processes are finished, shortlisted candidates must pay a fee to confirm their enrollment at the university and secure their admission and the rest of the semester fee is paid later.

1. Register on admission.lpu.in (http://admission.lpu.in/) by filling in your details.
2. Select your course as per your eligibility.
3. Apply for LPUNEST to avail scholarship or make direct payment of admission fees.
4. Select desired city and date of exam for LPUNEST.
5. Appear for LPUNEST.
6. Await scorecard to get admission or scholarship.
7. Following the result, attend online counselling. Fill in seat preference and download the allotment letter once the seat is allotted.
8. Book your seat by making the initial payment online. Upload necessary documents.

Hi there ,  the admission  process of LPU is as follows -

Step 1: Sign Up  – Register onto LPUADMIT(admission.lpu.in) with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).

Step 2: Payment for LPUNEST Kit – The cost of LPUNEST Kit needs to be paid by the applicant as per his/ her choice.

Application Fee:

• Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1000 (for Boys) and Rs. 500 (for Girls).
• Printed LPUNEST Kit is Rs. 1500 (for Boys) and Rs. 1000 (for Girls). The payment can be made using Online banking/Credit card/debit card / UPI.

Step 3: General Information and Qualification details – The application form details like Aadhar card number, address details and qualification details need to be filled by the applicant.

Step 4: Exam Information – Applicant needs to book the slot (preferred venue (if applicable), date and time as per their choice) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam. Applicant can also download the hall ticket from the portal.

STEP 5 - Admission
• Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000. After the successful realization of the payment:
o A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
• Upload the documents.
• Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
• All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
• Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
