The placement pakages offered by the companies depends on the type of college and its reputation. If you consider top category colleges like IIT, NIT, IIITS, BITS, VIT etc tyen the placement are good with maximum people getting placed in companies. The highest pakages goes for branches like CSE and IT. Average placement for ECE, MECHANICAL, EEE, ECM etc and least for PLASTIC ENGINEERING etc. Highest pakage also depends upon the college and your capabilities. You can always grab a good job.
