The cut-off depends on various factors like; Level of difficulty of VITEEE 2020, Previous year’s cut-off trends, Number of candidates appeared for VITEEE 2020 and Total number of seats available for admissions. So keeping in mind these factors the cut-off changes every year but according to previous year's cut-off if you get somewhere 70-80 marks or rank below 5000 to get a guaranteed seat. Below is the 2016 closing cut-off rank for CSE branch:

• Computer Science & Engineering - 7000(For Vellore campus)
• Computer Science and Engineering - 14000(For Chennai campus)
