SIIB Pune gives reservation policy to the management programme which has separate policy.

The reservation seats intake is:

Defence category :

80 percent seats for dependents (children or ward ) of defence personnel

Defence category special- 10 percent seats for dependents( children or ward) killed in war or war like operations or Dis-abeled in war, counter insurgency or war like operations, with more than 50 percent disability or who have died while in service,death being attributable to military service

Open or industry category:

10 percent seats are open in category for civilian candidates under open or sponsored recommended by industry.

Reservation seats of seats :

Officers of armed forces on study leave as authority by respective services HQ s are granted automatic subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

The type of disabilities are:

Dyslexia

Multiple disabilities

Locomotor disabilities

Hearing impairment

Vision impairment

Mental retardation

The cut off for the course in SIIB is 92 percentile.

The shortlisted candidates are called for group exercise, personal interview, writing ability test. Based on the performance of the candidates they are selected.
