Hey Prabhat,

First off, don't select General Elective subjects in hurry for you have to spend a whole semester with it and score well in it,so better choose a subject of your choice

There is NO disadvantage in changing your General Elective subject if you are unable to keep up with it.

You can pursue Masters in any discipline if you meet the basic eligibility criteria and you have to get through the entrance exams.

So,irrespective of the fact whether you belong to DU or any other university, your General Elective subject is not going to affect you in future.

Best of luck!
