Hello Sagar,
Approx. 18000 students appear for GATE Biotechnology every year. If you get a rank in top 1500, you may find a seat in IITs. In all about, 15% to 16% of the candidates were qualified in the exam. The GATE score will be valid for a period of three years after the declaration of result. Candidates can check the following table for expected GATE Biotechnology qualifying cutoff marks as mentioned below:

General -27
OBC-24.3
SC/ ST-18

GATE 2019 Cut-off list will be released on 16th March 2019 but according to 2018 GATE qualifying cutoff for biotechnology is mentioned here which can help you:
