Before you proceed to apply for admission, it is imperative for you to know the fee structure. There is a difference in the fee structure as it will depend whether you are planning to take admission in a Group A programme or you are looking forward to take admission in Group B
Group A comprises of the below mentioned programmes:
1. Chemical Engineering
2. CS
3. Biomedical Engineering

Group B Comprises of below mentioned programmes:
1. ME
2. CSE
3. ECE
The break up of the Fee structure for Group A is given below:
Component 1- Tuition Fee
1. Annual Tuition Fees – Rs 1,33,000
2. Special Fees which comprises of library and exam fee – Rs 30,000
3. Total fee – Rs 1,63,000 (Rs 1,33,000+Rs 30,000)


Component 2- The amount of fee to be paid at time of admission:
1. The one time payment of admission Fees- Rs 10,000
2. The Caution money which is refundable – Rs 3,000
3. The total fee which comprises of Component 1 + 2 =Rs. 1,76,000 ( Rs 1,63,000+13,000)


The Fee Structure for Group B
The component one comprises of Tuition Fee
1. The annual tuition fee – Rs 1,55,000
2. The special fee- Rs 30,000


The total fee is Rs 1,85,000 (Rs 1,55,000+Rs 30,000)


Component 2- Fee to be paid at time of admission:

B.Tech fee structure at VIT varies depending on whether you want to take admission in a Group A or Group B program.
