In 1999, the KS Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) in Mangalore, Karnataka, was founded. In 2009, it became a constituent school of NITTE University. The university provides MBBS, MD/MS, and M.Ch programmes deemed acceptable by the Indian Medical Council (MCI). In addition, it provides B.Sc., M.Sc., MPH, and MHAHSM courses in a variety of subjects.

Fees for the MBBS Program: 75.6 L (for 66 months)
