Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university, located in New Delhi, India. The admissions to B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses is based on the rank obtained in JEE (Main). The admissions to B.E. (Evening) courses is based on an entrance test taken by JMI.

The cutoff rank for JMI B. Tech according to previous year depend upon branch, cutoff for CSE branch general category was 2818 and for CIVIL engineering it was 9334 both branches offered by the institute falls in between.
