Hello Aspirant,

The NTA will administer the entrance exam of CUET 2022 in two slots.

The initial slot contains one language test, two domain-specific papers, and a general test.

The 2nd slot of the CUET exam 2022 includes four domain-specific subjects and one optional language subject.

There are an aggregate of four categories

1. Section IA – 13 Languages
2. Section IB – 19 Languages
3. Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
4. Section III – General Test

The language category is divided into 2 divisions-

1A (language test subjects)

Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, English, Bengali, Punjabi, and Odia.

1B( elective language)

There are 19 languages.

Any supplementary language that is distinct from those nominated in Section I A may be selected.

French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.

There are 27 domain-specific topics which are divided into two segments.

Accountancy/Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/Business Economics, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Sanskrit.

B2

Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Tradition Practises in India, Fine Arts/ Visual Arts/ Commercial Arts, Teaching Aptitude, Agriculture, Mass Media/Mass Communication, Physical Education/NCC/Yoga, and Performing Arts.
