Diploma in Pharmacy(D.Pharma) is a 2 years duration diploma course. The course is job oriented and after completing the  course you need to do Internship.After completing D.Pharma you can work as Pharmacist, Scientific Officer, Quality Analyst, Production Executive, Medical Transcriptionist etc. There are many private and government college that offer the course. Most colleges conduct their own entrance exam for admission. Some popular entrance exams are :

• Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)
• NIMS Entrance Exam
• NIPER JEE
• Manipal Entrance Test for PharmD
• SRMJEEE for PharmD
• VELS Entrance Examination

The fees for the course ranges from college to college. In private college the fees would be around 1 lakhs to 2 lakhs and in government college you need to pay 20-60k for the course.

The admission to this course is done on the basis of marks achieved in 12th class from a recognized board (minimum 50% aggregates). This course is related to pharmaceutical sciences and explains about  basic concepts of Pharmaceutical sciences which involves Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Human Anatomy, Physiology and many more.
