Dear friend,

The minimum qualification for doing B.tech is that you should have completed 10+2 in Science stream at least with 60 % marks in aggregate.

Some colleges take 50% marks as well.

Some colleges consider only the 60% aggregate in the science subjects.

This is the minimum qualification which make you eligible. But to get into a particular college you have to first clear their respective entrance. Then your rank in the entrance will decide the college and the  you will be awarded.

Good luck !!!!

Hey,
The B.Tech admissions for NIT Rourkela are made on the basis on JEE Mains exam. Students satisfying the basic criteria of eligibility would be invited for a Group Discussion round personal interview. However, final selection of candidates will be based on GD & PI hosted by the Institute, academic career and rank obtained in the JEE Mains. All applicants who wish to get admission in NIT Rourkela are required to score minimum of 60% of the marks in the JEE mains test. They must have got 40% in the class 12th Board examinations.
Hope this helps.
