Don't listen to wrong news that it takes jee mains marks for admission.

IIST gives admission based on Jee Advance marks.
Refer this link .
There is the cut off marks for eligibility criteria. Also it gives the opening and closing ranks for various categories of the past years.

IIST is a government owned college and takes admission only based on JEE mains marks.
