There are various Courses under Engineering and the average salary also varies according to it! After studying Computer Science and Engineering, you can become a Software Engineer, Programming Analyst, etc,. for which the average annual income for a fresher will be Rs. 3 lakhs. You can become a Project Engineer, Design Engineer and the salary varies from Rs. 1.5 to 8 lakhs/year. Becoming a Network Engineer, Associate Software Engineer, after Electronics and Communication Engineering you can earn 6 lakhs/year! All this will vary from company to company and the role you get!

Dear aspirant,

It totally depends upon you,your academic career ,your skills developed at the time of college days,also a bit from which college you belong. So if you belong from good IITs or Nits or bits  you can easily get a base pay 50-60k in hand salary. You can get even higher in case of IITs like 1L-2L per month. But if you don't belong to these colleges you can get low salaries such 25k per month.
