Dear Aspirant,
The Candidates who are born in abroad but there parents are of Indian origin then they are considered to fall under NRI category.
So you will be recognised as regular indian citizen.

Hope it is informative
All the best

Thanks. This is helpful. I happened to read somewhere if parents (with indian citizenship) currently working abroad (technically NRIs in India), and their children (with Indian citizenship) did schooling (1st-10th) aboard but appearing for NEET exam are considered under NRI category. Your answer is very helpful.
