VIT University itself conduct its entrance examination calledVITEEEthrough which only they entertain the aspirants. Now, the question arises upto how much ran,  one can get VIT University or be eligible for taking admission. VIT calls aspirants upto rank 100K for admission in their four campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. However, coming to your question,
It is not the management quota. It is called Admission without scholarship. Now you would have gotten the scenario here, I suppose. Fee in Admission without
scholarship  is slightly high then the fee with scholarship.  Fee for this admission is being spread between 3.98 lacks to 4.98 lacks depending upon the branch and campus you choose.

To take admission in VIT university you need to give the entrance exam which is VITEEE on the basis of your rank. So you must get qualifying rank to get admission in VIT. 

If you do not get  the qualifying marks there is another way which is called management qouta in which you dont have to give the exam you can directly get admisson.
