Start the preparation 6-9 months before the exam & no specific books are referred to as the exam tests overall understanding in some areas, so one specific book may not suffice. Revise properly after your 12th board exams.

Self-study might not help some students. As there is not much time between boards and IPMAT, so expert guidance will help them prepare in the required manner. You can take up online coaching to save time and money and study as per your convenience

You should go through the entire syllabus of IPMAT two months before the boards to concentrate completely on your 12th exams for these two months.

Once you are done with 12th boards, start to prepare intensely for IPMAT.

The key to crack this exam is to be fairly good at Maths and English. If you had Maths in your 12th, you can prepare for this exam easily. Your concepts should be clear. You should also focus on English as it is very important to have a strong base in English grammar. Improbable vocabulary is going to benefit you.

Since you have gone through the syllabus once, you just have to revise. For revision take Online tests to save time and brush up your concepts. Do a proper analysis of the mock tests you have taken to work on your weak areas. Take timed tests to recreate the exam environment.

In the first  2/3RD of the time left for ipmat preparation

A good way to start with would be to read up on all the current news, be it of national or international importance. Some aspirants may find it useful to maintain a notebook for the same. • The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT)

        is a test held by the Indian Institute of Management Indore. 

• The national level test is an entrance for admission to the 5 year 

        Integrated Program in Management offered at IIM Indore.

• The IPMAT 2019 schedule has not been released yet.

• Candidates who clear the examination will further be called in

        for the personal interview rounds. 

• The final selection of students shall be done after that. 

• The program is spread across 5 years consisting of 15 terms in which 

        Every year consists of 3 terms of 3 months duration.

• Exam Pattern: 

        The IPMAT 2018 had 100 questions divided in three sections. 

        The Overall difficulty level was moderate although the Quant section had a few tough    questions. 

        There was an individual time limit of 40 Minutes for each section . 

• The 3 sections in IPMAT 2018 were as following : Quantitative Ability (Short Answers);

        Quantitative Ability with all MCQs and Verbal Ability with MCQ type questions .

• Quantitative Ability: Important topics include Probability, P&C, Logarithm,

         Calculus,Progressions, Inequalities, Trigonometry, Geometry,Vectors&3D, 

         Matrices& Determinants,relations&functions, Data Interpretation. 

• Verbal Ability: The questions were based on Reading Comprehension and English Usage.

         There are chances that the questions on Synonym-Antonym would be a bit tough, 

         so do practice on the same. The rest of the topics include Grammar, Para Jumble,

         Fill in the blanks, Word usage, and Para completion.

• Solve mock tests: You will need to solve the mock tests as it will help 

        to understand your preparation level for IPMAT Exam.
