Dear Sachin,i think you are preparing for JEE MAIN 2020 and that's why you are asking this type of question.I want to say that while preparing for any type of competition exam you should not aim a specific rank or college's seat.You should always give your best.A rank more than the closing rank will not be harmful and will always be beneficial to you.So,prepare well for the exam.For the sake of info. the minimum rank required this year for general category student for CS at NIT Allahabad is 4051.

The cutoff (previous year) is different for different streams. Like for computer science, electronics, mechanical, civil engineering , information technology the cutoff is near about same.
You need to have a rank of 4000 if you want to get CSE- IT in NIT Allahabad. For civil amd mechanical, you need to keep you rank within 5500.
According to 2018 cutoff, the opening rank for cse in nit allahabad was 1525 and closing rank was 4545 for home state quota.
And for other state quota, the opening rank was 1535, and closing rank was 3504.

Around 200 to 240 marks for cse for general categoryAround 180-200 marks for obcAround 150-180 for sc/st
