Hello Shokat,
First of all we Indians should know that Alexander indian INVASION was failed. He was defeated by our tribal people and king Porus as well. He was spared by Porus as he had already married an Indian lady and that Indian lady had tied the raksha on the hand of Porus and asked him not to kill Alexender. Porus promisedhe won't kill him but certainly punish. After 2-3 days war Alexender ‘s army commander was killed and his horse on which riding Alexender had tasted hundreds victory was killed and Alexender himself was injured badly hence he called for truce.
As per legendary Russian commander Alexender faced catastrophic defeat in India.
And the effect was as soon as news broke out before Alexender INVASION of India Chanakya resigned and went to the mighty king Nanda and explained him about situation but instead Nanda humiliated Chanakya. And now Chanakya raised Maurya to become king of United India. Till the time Alexender reached India ocean like huge Mauryan army was already there to welcome them. After facing defeat from a minor Indian king Porus Alexender could not dare to face Maurya which was at least five times of army of Alexender. Hence Alexender has to leave Indian subcontinent.
After that Maurya killed Nanda as well and established the greatest Indian kingdom Mauryan Empire.
