See this will depend upon your rank and seat. VIT has a varied range. The cost of B.Tech will vary from rank to rank while the hostel fees are constant for everyone. If you get a rank above say 25000 to 100,000, you may have to pay around 16 to 22 lakhs in total inclusive of hostel and everything. It basically depends upon the ranks
