If we compare both the institutions on the basis of studies, faculty,quality if education and placements, i would totally recommend you vit vellore over thapar university.

Teachers in vit vellore are exceptionally good and also you can choose your own teacher which is the best part. The university keeps you engaged in research papers.

If we talk about placements in cse,the record is superb.

But if you are a delhi student it might take sometime to settle and adapt the surroundings.

CSE branch at thapar bags most of the highest packages and also the brand name thapar.

The placement is also good. Thappar students between 190-200 in JEE.

Both the colleges Thapar University and VIT University are the best private colleges in India under top 10 private colleges in India.
Computer science engineering offered by both these colleges have different courses but the baseline of computer science engineering course is the same, it all depends upon the practical knowledge given to the students of computer science engineering.
Both these colleges are known for their great infrastructure, faculties and facilities provided by them like Wi-Fi labs with better equipment and machines.
So there is not much of a comparison between these colleges based on infrastructure, faculties and facilities.
Both the colleges claim to have 100% placements.
