Income certificateis notrequiredwhile applying for JEE mains, but yes you willhaveto producecaste certificateor any certificate for which you have applied (for example ews certificate or OBC NCL certificate) at the time of admission and seat allocation process.

While applying JEE Mains, if you're from economically weaker background and don't have income certificate, while admission may be you can't apply for fee reimbursement in the colleges. It is essentially for you to have the income certificate if you're from EWS section. So arrange as soon as possible. However, the fee reimbursement will only work if qualify with a rank within the minimum cutoff range.
