There is no any categorywise cutoff in this VIT institutions. It doesn't follow any reservation policies. Authorities of this institutions releases the cutoffs(closing rank) for each branch and campuses. Candidates who scores 20000 and below rank will be called for phase1 counselling and after that phase 2 counselling. Bamoi, VIT is a private institute and it does not have category wise reservation for admission to its courses. Although I can provide you with the overall cutoff for its BTech courses.

Now VIT takes admission through its own exam called VITEEE which is to be held from 13 to 19 April 2020.

VIT does not reveal the cutoff marks as the exam is held in many sessions on different days and the level of the paper may vary slightly. So your actual score would be normalised according to the level of the paper, number of students appearing in that exam slot, your relative performance with respect to the other candidates, etc

The cutoff is technically the last rank which could grab a seat in the given branch at the given campus. The Bhopal and Amaravati campus are relatively new so we cannot estimate the cutoff for them.

I will mention the cutoffs for some branches in 2016 in Vellore campus below:

• CSE- 7000
• CSE (Spec. in Information Security)- 7500
• IT- 12000
• ECE- 14500
• EEE- 15500

Similarly for Chennai campus, the cutoffs were:

• CSE- 14000
• ECE- 25000
• EEE- 28000
• Electronics and Computer- 42000
