Hi Sameeksha,
Hope you are doing well. The secret key should be used during the option entry process. During option entry process, you need to create a user ID and password using the secret key in order to login to the portal and enter the options. Every time you want to login to option entry portal, either to view the options or modify the options, you need to enter this secret key. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.
