Yes, there are NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER which conduct exam for MBBS nationwide. For NEET applications, the notifications are usualy releaased by the end of December this year. For B Tech course, you may follow the notifications on IIT-JEE for national level of competitions.

Jipmer and aiims test are the two standard test except NEET
But NEET should be focussed as we get max seats available with Max colleges all over India which increases the chances of getting admission

                                 JIPMER.

The NEET 2018  registration  usually  will open in December 2017.
Relatively AllMS and JIPMER will open their registration around  the  same time only..

There are two other tests apart from NEET they are
1. AIIMS
2. JIPMER

These two tests are national institutes which are not run by MCI where as the colleges which comes under MCI will have to write NEET.

These two.colleges have limited seats and huge competition so if the paper is hard, competition is less but average preparation is not sufficient. If the paper is easy, huge competition is present so the person with minimum mistakes get the seat.

No there's no other exam for MBBS course other than NEET only AIIMS and JIPMER have there seprate exam but this exam are too much difficult level than NEET. You can apply for MBBS or Btech after the entrance exam results.

Also neet is not the only test for medical admissions .
There are 2 separate tests for AIIMS and jipmer relatively which will open their registration around the same time only.
So be attentive during this crucial time and do register to all.
